Everyone wants more.
More leads.
More markets.
More opportunities.
More growth.
So what do most agents do?
They try to water everything.
And that’s exactly why nothing grows.
Most agents aren’t lazy.
They’re working.
Calling.
Driving.
Posting.
Chasing.
From the outside, it looks like they’re doing everything right.
But underneath?
They’re spread too thin to actually win.
You only have so much:
time
energy
money
attention
That’s your bucket.
And no matter how ambitious you are…
your bucket doesn’t get bigger.
Two farmers.
Same bucket.
One has 20 trees.
The other has an entire forest.
The one with 20 trees waters every single one.
They grow. They thrive. They produce.
The one with the forest?
He tries to water everything.
And most of it dies.
Not because he didn’t work hard…
Because he tried to do too much.
When you try to:
work multiple states
sell every product
chase every lead
talk to everyone
You’re not building a business.
You’re watering a forest.
And most of it is dying quietly.
You’ve probably told yourself:
“If I just had more leads…”
“If I just expanded…”
“If I just did more…”
But more isn’t the answer.
More is the problem.
Because more spreads your bucket thinner.
And thin effort doesn’t produce strong results.
The agents who actually grow?
They don’t try to be everywhere.
They:
pick a market
understand their people
show up consistently
build real relationships
They water the same ground over and over again.
And because of that:
trust builds
referrals compound
visibility increases
growth becomes predictable
You don’t need to be known everywhere.
You need to be known somewhere.
When people in your area hear:
Medicare
insurance
help
Your name should come up.
Not because you blasted ads…
Because you were present.
Consistently.
Authentically.
Over time.
Hustle gives you movement.
Focus gives you results.
Hustle makes you feel productive.
Focus actually builds something.
And most agents stay stuck in hustle…
Because it feels like progress.
Instead of asking:
“How do I do more?”
Start asking:
Who do I actually want to serve?
Where are they?
How do I show up there consistently?
And then commit.
Not for a week.
Not for a month.
Long enough for it to work.
You don’t need a bigger bucket.
You need a smaller field.
Because trying to grow everything…
Is the fastest way to grow nothing.
